I need a quote, why do I need to give so much information?
As Caledonian only offers fixed price moves with written quotes it is important for us to gather as much information about your move as we can. To make the process easier, why not have one of our estimators visit you for a no obligation survey?
Do I need to pay the full balance in advance?
We normally require the balance 7 days prior to your move as some payment methods take 7 days to reach our account. We ask for all payments 7 days prior regardless of payment method to make the procedure as simple as possible and to give you one less thing to worry about on moving day.
I have received my quotation and want to book. What do I do?
We have made the booking process easy for everyone. All you need to do is print the acceptance form on your quotation email, fill out a few details and return to us. We will contact you as soon as we receive this and handle everything from there.
I've booked my move, what happens next?
After receiving your acceptance form, one of our team will call the same day to confirm the details we have are correct, and arrange an arrival time, and help with any special requirements. We will then email all the details to you; down to the staff names and vehicles registrations to give you complete piece of mind your job is safely booked. Feel free to contact us anytime after this will any questions or even advice on packing or removal tips.
What happens if something is damaged?
We take every care to make sure your items reach you in the condition they left, and although damages are rare, we have a procedure to deal with these promptly. As soon as you report the damage we will email you a claim form, which is quick and easy to complete. We then can have our insurer's contact you direct who will assist in resolving your claim as quickly and continently as possible.
